# Watch Vault Media > Watch Vault Media is an iPhone and iPad app, in development, that gathers watch news and videos from a curated list of sources into one newest-first list. Stories are linked, never republished. Published by Aveneg Technologies, LLC. Status: in development. Not yet available; nothing to download. No release date is set. Platform: iPhone and iPad, and a web version in any modern browser at https://watchvaultmedia.app. Cost: the app and every feature are free. It has optional tips, bought through Apple, that unlock nothing. No subscription, no advertising. ## What it does - Latest: every story from the sources that are switched on, strictly newest first, grouped by day, finite. New stories never move the list under the reader. - Podcasts: 13 shows in their own tab (4 on at first), a small player (background and lock screen), episodes can be downloaded for offline listening (kept out of backups; no video downloads). On iOS 17 and later Siri offers "Resume my podcast" and "Play my latest download". No podcasts on the web version. - Calendar: fairs, awards and major watch auctions, chosen and kept by hand; Add to Calendar via Apple's own screen, no permission. - Videos: the channels that are switched on, newest first, with each day's YouTube Shorts gathered into one row. - Saved: stories and videos the reader kept, on the device. - Widgets: Home Screen (small, medium) and Lock Screen widgets show the newest stories; they use only a small copy the app keeps on the device, connect to nothing and send no alerts. - Search: finds stories, videos, saved items, sources and writers in what the device already holds; nothing typed is sent anywhere. - Sources: 26 sites, 24 video channels and 13 podcasts; 16 sites, 4 channels and 4 podcasts are on at first. Every source has a switch. A source can be added by its feed address. - Topics: five (new releases; independents and high horology; vintage and auctions; affordable and tool; industry and events). They organise the list; they never hide a source or replace the order. - A story covered by several sources is shown once with every source listed. Sponsored and shop posts are labelled from the publisher's own markings and shown. - Reading a story opens the publisher's page inside the app, in Safari's Reader view where the page has one. ## The web version - Watch Vault Media is also on the web. Live at https://watchvaultmedia.app. The same reader in a browser, for the starting set of sources. No accounts, no Saved, no source switches, no Settings, no tips. Shares nothing with the phone app. - A small Cloudflare Worker fetches each source's public feed; it stores nothing about the visitor and is set not to log. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts. ## Privacy - No account, no analytics, no advertising, no notifications. The app runs no server of the publisher's; the web version uses one small feed helper that keeps nothing about the visitor. - What the reader saves, switches and sets is kept on the device. Search is local. - The app connects, from the device, to the publishers' sites and feeds and to YouTube, and to the App Store only while its optional-tips screen is open. The publisher of the app sees none of it. - This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. ## Questions readers ask Is there a watch news app that is not an editorial brand? Watch Vault Media writes no news. It lists what the watch press publishes, in the order it was published. Does it rank or personalise the list? No. Strict newest first, from sources the reader chose. Do I need an account? No. Is it free? Yes, every feature. Optional tips unlock nothing. Does it republish articles? No. A story is its headline, the publisher's picture, the publisher's short summary and a link. Can I download it now? Not yet. The web version is live at https://watchvaultmedia.app. ## Pages - [Home](https://watchvaultmedia.com/) - [Sources](https://watchvaultmedia.com/sources) - [About](https://watchvaultmedia.com/about) - [Support](https://watchvaultmedia.com/support) - [Contact](https://watchvaultmedia.com/contact) - [Privacy Policy](https://watchvaultmedia.com/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://watchvaultmedia.com/terms) Search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers may access, index, quote and summarise this site's public content.
