Watch news, video and podcasts
What is new in watches, today.
Watch Vault Media gathers the latest stories, videos and podcast episodes from sites, channels and shows chosen for watch collectors, and lists them newest first. Pick the sources you want. Read the story where its publisher put it.

One list. In order.
- Latest
Every story, newest first, grouped by day, and finite. New stories never move the list under you: a line and a bar say they have arrived.
- Videos
The channels you follow, newest first, with each day’s Shorts gathered into one row.
- Podcasts
Episodes from the shows you follow, in their own tab, with a small player that keeps playing with the phone locked. Download an episode to listen without a connection.
- Calendar
The fairs, awards and major watch auctions ahead, soonest first, each checked against the organiser’s own page. Add one to your calendar, with no permission asked.
- Saved
Keep a story or a video, and find it again, on the phone.
- Widgets
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the newest stories, as Latest has them. Tapping one opens it in the app.
- Search
Find a story, a source or a writer in what the phone already holds. It asks no site and no server.
A story covered by several sources is shown once, with every source listed under it. None is hidden. Five topics—new releases, independents and high horology, vintage and auctions, affordable and tool, industry and events—organise the list; they never replace it.
Chosen sources. Your switches.
We curate the sources. We do not decide what you are allowed to see. Every source has a switch, and you may turn on as many as you like.
The app starts with 13 sites, 4 channels and 4 podcasts on, and holds 23 sites, 24 channels and 13 podcasts in all. Each source says how often it posts and who owns it. A source with a feed address can be added by you. The sources
Watch Vault Media is also on the web.
The same reader, in any modern web browser, at watchvaultmedia.app. It shows the starting set of sources, less any that refuse the web host’s servers. The web has no accounts, no Saved, no switches for sources and no settings, and no podcasts. It shares nothing with the phone app.
Your reading. Not ours.
-
No account.
The app never asks who you are.
-
No server in the app.
The app asks each publisher’s own site for its feed, straight from your phone. We run nothing in between. The web version uses one small helper that fetches feeds and keeps nothing about you.
-
No tracking.
No analytics and no advertising, ours or anyone else’s. Nothing records what you open.
-
No alerts.
No notifications, no badges, no daily digest. You pull; the app never pings.
Your saved stories, your switches and your settings stay on the device. What you type in search never leaves it. Opening a story or a video connects to its publisher or to YouTube, as opening it in a browser would. The privacy policy has the detail.
Linked, never republished.
A story in the app is its headline, the publisher’s own picture, the publisher’s own short summary and a link. Reading it opens the publisher’s page, in Safari’s Reader view where the page has one. Sponsored and shop posts are labelled from the publisher’s own markings, and shown.
