Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of this website, of the Watch Vault Media app (“the app”) and of the web version at watchvaultmedia.app, all published by Aveneg Technologies, LLC (“the Company”, “we”, “us”).

1. What this site is

This site is informational. It describes the app and provides a way to contact us. It offers no accounts, purchases or subscriptions, and no place to submit content of your own.

2. The app

The app is to be distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your use of it is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and by these Terms. Where the two differ, Apple’s agreement governs the licence itself.

  • Free. The app and every feature in it are free. It has no subscription and no advertising.
  • Optional tips. A Support screen offers tips as Apple purchases. A tip unlocks nothing and is not required. Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple’s terms.
  • The web version. The same reader at watchvaultmedia.app, for any modern browser, is also free, with no accounts. It carries an optional link to a tip page on Buy Me a Coffee, a separate service governed by its own terms; a tip is never required and unlocks nothing. These Terms apply to the web version as to the app.
  • Your device. What you save, switch and set is kept on your device; see the Privacy Policy.

3. Other people’s work

The app lists stories, videos and podcast episodes from sites, channels and shows published by others. It shows a headline, the publisher’s own picture and short summary, and a link, and it republishes nothing else. A podcast episode you download is a copy kept on your device for your own listening. The stories, pictures, videos and podcasts, and the names of the publishers, belong to them or their licensors. Reading or watching one is governed by the publisher’s own terms. We choose which sources the app offers; we do not write, edit or check what they publish, and a source’s being offered is not an endorsement of it, nor theirs of us. A publisher who wants a source removed may write to us at the address in section 11.

4. Acceptable use

You may view and share pages from this site for lawful purposes. Automated access is welcome: search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers may access, index, quote and summarise this site’s public content, consistent with our robots.txt. You may not present this site’s content as your own, or use it to imply an affiliation with, or endorsement by, the Company that does not exist.

5. Intellectual property

The text, design and marks on this site and in the app belong to Aveneg Technologies, LLC. Any third-party names referenced belong to their owners, and referencing them does not imply endorsement in either direction.

This site and the app link to other sites, which are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not operate.

7. No warranty

This site and the app are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that their content is complete, current or free of error, that a source will be reachable or will publish, that a story is accurate, that the site will always be available, or that the app will be free of faults. The app reports; it gives no advice, and nothing in it is advice on buying, selling or valuing a watch.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the app, or from a decision made from what a publisher wrote.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page is the version in effect.
